The USA Women’s Over-35 National Team represents the highest level of structured senior international competition available to American female players aged 35 and above. This team was established in response to the growing demand for a continued, elite national pathway for experienced women who still compete at a high level — and who are not finished challenging themselves internationally.
This is not recreational football.
This is not a social tournament team.
This is a performance-driven, standards-based national platform.

Why It Exists

The Women’s Over-35 program was created to:
   •    Provide a legitimate international pathway for elite senior female players
   •    Extend competitive careers beyond traditional structures
   •    Offer national-level identification and selection standards
   •    Create meaningful international competition opportunities
   •    Build a lasting legacy platform for women in the senior game

Many accomplished female athletes step away from high-level competition not because their ability declines — but because the pathway disappears. This program ensures that pathway continues.
