David Jones, Head Coach, USMSNT
David Jones is the head coach of the USMSNT. Before taking on this role, he served as the head coach for American Samoa’s U19 and Senior Men’s Teams, leading both squads to the 2025 U20 World Cup and the 2026 World Cup qualifying tournaments in 2024.
My Story
A former professional player, David began his career at Manchester United and went on to compete in top leagues across Hong Kong, Spain, Germany, and the United States. Over a 16-year playing career at the highest level, he transitioned into coaching, earning his UEFA A, Wales C, and USSF coaching licenses.
David’s coaching journey has taken him across the globe, including roles with the US Virgin Islands and Belize as a technical consultant, as well as experience in the Bundesliga, English League One and Two, and the U.S. college system. His wealth of experience, both as a player and a coach, continues to shape his approach to developing talent and achieving success on the international stage.
