The U.S. Men’s Senior National Soccer Team (Over 40) is proud to announce a sponsorship partnership with Dr. Emilio Del Priore, M.D., a distinguished cardiologist and lifelong sports enthusiast. Dr. Del Priore’s generous sponsorship will provide official coaches’ gear for the team as they prepare for the 17th Senior World Cup Tournament in Pattaya, Thailand, from June 2-7, 2025.
Born on Long Island and a first-generation Italian-American, Dr. Del Priore has been passionate about an active lifestyle and helping others from a young age. As an avid soccer player and dedicated medical professional, his expertise in cardiovascular health aligns with the team’s commitment to peak athletic performance and longevity in the sport.
Dr. Del Priore trained at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, where he was named Chief Resident before specializing in Cardiology at the prestigious New York Hospital-Cornell/Presbyterian Hospital System. Over his career, he has performed thousands of Stress Tests and advanced diagnostic procedures, pioneering techniques to enhance patient comfort and accuracy in cardiac care.

The team will hold a pre-World Cup training camp from May 25-29 at YMCA Honolulu before heading to Thailand to compete against top international squads, including reigning champions England, Australia, New Zealand, Iran, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
