Thomas Petykowski
Thomas Petykowski grew up in Virginia Beach, VA, and at age 5, he was introduced tothe sport of soccer, which he has been playing ever since. He specialized as a defenderfor his youth club, Beach FC, and high school, Frank W. Cox High.
My Story
Thomas Petykowski grew up in Virginia Beach, VA, and at age 5, he was introduced to
the sport of soccer, which he has been playing ever since. He specialized as a defender
for his youth club, Beach FC, and high school, Frank W. Cox High. After joining the Air Force in 2005, Tom continued to play for multiple base teams in tournaments around the
country. In 2009, he was selected to play for the All-Air Force team for the first of five
times (2009-2012, 2019). Following the All-Armed Forces Tournaments in 2010 and
2012, Tom was selected to the All-Tournament Teams. He was part of the All-Armed
Forces Team that represented the US military in the 2010 International Military Sports
Council Tournament in Suriname. In 2025, Tom had the honor to play for Team USA as
a defender at the 17 th Men’s Senior World Cup in Thailand. Tom continues to play indoor
and outdoor soccer to stay in shape and for the love of the game.
