Naturally comfortable in the middle of the park, he is a highly versatile player who has consistently adapted to different roles as needed, valuing team requirements over position and approaching every match with a team-first mindset.
My Story
Jack Pocorobba is a central midfielder from the Philadelphia region with over 35 years of competitive soccer experience. Naturally comfortable in the middle of the park, he is a highly versatile player who has consistently adapted to different roles as needed, valuing team requirements over position and approaching every match with a team-first mindset. A four-year collegiate starter at the NCAA Division II and Division III levels, Jack competed in the NCAA National Tournament and graduated from Arcadia University in 2005. Following college, he joined Phoenix SC, a historic club within the Philadelphia soccer community, competing in the United Soccer League of Pennsylvania (USASA). Over more than 15 seasons with Phoenix SC, his teams earned multiple Pennsylvania State Cup titles and state championships, qualified for the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup proper, and captured a national championship at the Over-30 level. He currently competes with Phoenix SC’s Over-40 team, contributing to multiple recent Pennsylvania state titles. Jack is known for leading through consistency and example, bringing composure, tactical discipline, and professionalism to demanding tournament environments.
