
Luis Zamora
Luis, a military veteran with 24 years of distinguished service in the United States Navy, was born and raised in Costa Rica. His parents immigrated to the U.S. and lived in Boca Raton, FL. He was actively involved in soccer throughout his youth and enlisted in the Navy immediately after graduating from high school.

Luis, a military veteran with 24 years of distinguished service in the United States Navy, was born and raised in Costa Rica. His parents immigrated to the U.S. and lived in Boca Raton, FL. He was actively involved in soccer throughout his youth and enlisted in the Navy immediately after graduating from high school.
During his military career, Luis was a member of the elite U.S. Navy Men's Soccer Team for 10 years, earning three silver medals at the Armed Forces Men's Soccer Championships. He was also selected to represent the United States on the U.S. Armed Forces Soccer Team, competing in the Military World Games Americas Qualifiers held in Suriname, South America.
Beyond his military service, Luis played three seasons in the Premier Development League with the Virginia Beach Piranhas. He is a co-founder of the Armed Forces Hawaii Soccer Team, which participated at the Defender’s Cup National Military Soccer Tournament.
Additionally, Luis is a veteran player for the U.S. Men’s Senior National Team and has represented the country at the 17th Seniors World Cup. He currently continues his playing career in the San Diego North County Men’s Over-40 League, where he has helped his team secure three championship titles.
