Darren Laroque

Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, I’ve spent the last 13 years living in Palatine, Illinois. I’ve been married for 14 years to my college sweetheart. I played college soccer at Salisbury University, earning Conference Rookie of the Year honors in 1997, All-Conference recognition in 1997–1999 and 2001, All-Region honors in 1998, 1999, and 2001, and was named a National All-American in 2001.

My Story

Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, I’ve spent the last 13 years living in Palatine, Illinois. I’ve been married for 14 years to my college sweetheart. I played college soccer at Salisbury University, earning Conference Rookie of the Year honors in 1997, All-Conference recognition in 1997–1999 and 2001, All-Region honors in 1998, 1999, and 2001, and was named a National All-American in 2001. I won a U-21 National Championship with the Baltimore Bays in 1998 and Over-30 National Championships with Christos FC in 2012 and 2013. I’ve also spent the past 12 years coaching high school soccer.  I have been a residential loan officer for 22 years and my hobbies include woodworking and playing golf.
