
Assistant Coach - Christie Ehrhardt
Christie Ehrhardt is a veteran of the pitch and the sidelines, boasting an extensive career that spans the professional, collegiate, and youth levels of soccer. Her journey in the sport began at the collegiate level where she played Division 1 soccer at Northern Illinois University. This foundation led to a high-level playing career in the W-League from 2005 to 2011, during which she competed for several prominent clubs including the Chicago Gaels, Chicago Red Eleven, Real Colorado, Colorado Rush, and Colorado Force.
My Story
Christie Ehrhardt is a veteran of the pitch and the sidelines, boasting an extensive career that spans the professional, collegiate, and youth levels of soccer. Her journey in the sport began at the collegiate level where she played Division 1 soccer at Northern Illinois University. This foundation led to a high-level playing career in the W-League from 2005 to 2011, during which she competed for several prominent clubs including the Chicago Gaels, Chicago Red Eleven, Real Colorado, Colorado Rush, and Colorado Force. Beyond her professional years, she has remained a steadfast advocate for the women’s game, continuing to play and support the Women’s League in Georgia for eight years. Following her time as a professional player, Christie transitioned to a successful coaching career that has lasted over 15 years. Her experience in the collegiate ranks includes serving as an Assistant Coach for both NAIA Illinois Tech and her alma mater, NCAA Northern Illinois University. In addition to her extensive work as a youth coach, she demonstrated significant leadership during her seven-year tenure as the Girls Director for the Southern Soccer Academy - DeKalb Division. Her commitment to soccer governance is further highlighted by her service as the Vice President on the Board of Directors for the GAWSA league in Georgia, where she helped oversee and grow competitive opportunities for women in the region.
