My Story
Ryan Miles lives in Nashville, Tennessee, where he enjoys life with his wife and two children. Ryan helped lead Houston High School in Germantown to back-to-back Tennessee state championships in 1993 and 1994. His standout play earned him a spot on the 1994 State Championship All-Tournament Team, recognizing his leadership and skill on the field. Ryan also spent two summers playing in Argentina, where his performance earned him an offer to join a professional team.
After high school, Ryan continued his soccer journey at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, where he competed for the Club Soccer Team from 1994 to 1999. During his time there, he became the program’s all-time leading goal scorer and helped lead the team to multiple Club National Tournament appearances in 1995, 1997, and 1999. In 1997, his team captured the Southeastern Conference Championship.
Today, he remains deeply involved in the game, playing with Nashville’s Arsenal Gunners Over 40 and Over 50 Club Teams, and proudly coaching his son’s soccer team. Of all his accomplishments on and off the field, Ryan’s favorite remains the opportunity to coach and share the game he loves with his son and he looks forward to one day coaching his daughter as well.
