Thomas Greenawalt

Thomas Greenawalt is from Reading, Pennsylvania where he attended Muhlenberg High School. During his time at Muhlenberg, he became the all-time leading scorer and was recognized as an all-state standout. Throught out his academy years, Greenawalt also played for the Pennsylvania Olympic Development Program ODP and made the United States Region 1 Team.

My Story

Thomas Greenawalt is from Reading, Pennsylvania where he attended Muhlenberg High School. During his time at Muhlenberg, he became the all-time leading scorer and was recognized as an all-state standout. Throught out his academy years, Greenawalt also played for the Pennsylvania Olympic Development Program ODP and made the United States Region 1 Team. He played club soccer for GAK-German American Kickers of Trenton, NJ where they won the U18 State Cups. Thomas went on to play Division 1 soccer at Marshall University, Where he was a four-year letter winner and earned all-region and all-conference honors. He then graduated with his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Legal Studies in 1999. Thomas went on to play soccer professionally, competing in 11 years of professional soccer. Over the course of these 11 years he played for the Ocean City Barons, Reading Rage, and Lehigh Valley Steamers. Greenawalt has most recently played with amateur clubs such as West Chester United and Christos FC. Greenawalt possesses a National B Soccer License and has been a college Head soccer coach for 17 years. He holds a record of 159W 99L 26D, winning the National USCAA title in 2021 with Penn State Brandywine. Thomas currently resides in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with his wife and 3 children.
