Enrique N. Barreiro

After college, Enrique pursued a professional career, taking his talents to Russia’s Professional Second Division, where he adapted to the demands of European competition. His passion for the game remained strong even while serving in the military, representing the Armed Forces Team and demonstrating his commitment to excellence both on and off the field. His journey reflects a relentless dedication to the sport, proving his ability to compete at various levels and adapt to different playing environments.

 Enrique is a skilled and versatile soccer player with a diverse playing history spanning youth, collegiate, professional, and military competition. He began his development at Filanbanco U13 [Premier DP], excelling early before competing at the 6A NY high school level. He then played for the NYNJ Metro Stars [DP], gaining elite club experience before moving on to NCAA Division I soccer at Mercy University, where he refined his technical and tactical skills. After college, he pursued a professional career in Russia’s Professional Second Division, adapting to the demands of European competition. Even while serving in the military, he remained committed to the game, representing the Armed Forces Team and showcasing his dedication to excellence on and off the field.
