U.S. Men’s Over-40 Senior National Team finishes third after strong international campaign

The U.S. Men’s Over-40 Senior National Team concluded its 2026 international campaign with a bronze medal at the 18th Senior World Cup in Thailand, securing third place with an emphatic 3–0 victory over Australia in the tournament’s bronze-medal match.

The result capped a memorable competition for the United States, which advanced through a demanding international field and finished among the tournament’s top three teams.

Throughout the event, the U.S. squad faced experienced senior national teams from around the world, testing itself against different styles of play, tactical approaches and high-level competition. The tournament provided another important international benchmark for the program and reinforced the depth of talent available within the American senior player pool.

After progressing through the group stage, the United States earned a place in the semifinals, where it faced France in one of the tournament’s closest contests.
